Abstract:

The article is devoted to the role of male influence on the upbringing of adolescents in the family. The low involvement of fathers in the process of raising children identified the reasons for the study of this problem. The aim of this study was to determine the role of a significant man in the education of adolescents. The survey was used as a method of examination, during which teenagers studying in 9-11 grades, living in Tomsk and Tomsk region were interviewed. The results of the study showed that despite the fact that fathers in most cases are excluded from the education of the younger generation, children feel the need for fathers to participate in their lives, in the process of growing up and becoming their personalities.
